4th February - 5th March 2012
We start 2012 with an exhibition of art by women artists. This time last year we held an exhibition of art by men - The Boys Are Back In Town - and this exhibition attempts to redress the balance.
The artists have been given the freedom to choose their subject matter so not all of the work will be marine. We hope, however, that the exhibition will bring some colour and cheer to what is otherwise a rather gloomy time of the year.
We have new work from regular artists - jeweller Victoria Constable; painters Andie Clay, Tracy Saunders, Mary Woodin RCA and Carol Saunderson; embroiderer Michelle Holmes and photographer Rebecca Nason ARPS.
We are also introducing to the gallery work from three established artists - Helen Dougall, Christine Pybus and Judith Yarrow - which we hope you will welcome as we believe their work compliments our existing offer.
Children are always welcome in the gallery.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
