New Artists At Sea Pictures Gallery

A large number of new artists have taken over the gallery, all from the Colchester Art Society. There are acrylics, oils, watercolours and mixed media paintings as well as lino prints and etchings. Our first set of two days of linocut courses has just happened and hats off to all the participants who worked incredibly hard to achieve what they did. Some students had done a one day course previously and were now back for two days. Others were total beginners who had never done anything like it!.. read more →

Changing Exhibitions

The gallery will be closed from Monday 17th October until Thursday 3rd November to allow us to go up to Scotland, across to Wales and most of the places in between to collect new work for the Christmas exhibition – A Time to Wonder.
