Bengt Andersson, painter, engraver, jazz musician, is an
award-winning Swedish artist, living and working on the west
coast.
His work has been widely exhibited in both solo and joint
exhibitions. His pieces can be found in a variety of public art
collections throughout Sweden including the Swedish Parliament
and National Art Gallery. Bengt has also produced several works
on commission for the municipality of Uddevalla as well as for
the company HSB in Uddevalla.

Bengt travels widely in search of inspiration, from the Lofoten
Islands in the North to Oman in the Middle East. He particularly
enjoys painting trips to France, Spain and the Greek Islands and
finds many subjects to hand on his native west coast of Sweden.
Bengt has
studied at the Handicraft Association School in Gothenburg and
the Gerlesborg School of Fine Art in Spain.
He was born in Gothenburg in 1931. |
