Raymond Leech was born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk He studied Art and Design at Great Yarmouth College of Art
For many years Raymond was a landscape painter but his style has evolved over time and now he paints mostly seascapes and marine subjects, progressing of late into figurative work at the seaside.
He works in oils on canvas and board for smaller works, also in watercolour, pastel and charcoal. I paint from life using models and other references that I have gathered together over the years to build up quite a large stock of materials to dip into when I need to.
