The Summer Exhibition at Sea Pictures Gallery opens on Sunday 15th June at 11.30 with Pimms and homemade scones for all Dads since it’s Father’s Day. Gosh what an exhausting and busy day we had in the gallery yesterday when Scottish printmaker, Linda Farquharson, came back to the gallery to demonstrate wood engraving to visitors. What a wonderful day was had on Saturday 3rd May when Scottish printmaker and wood engraver, Linda Farqhuarson came to town! What she lovingly described as a “table top press” took two people to lift and is sitting very happily on the floor – it weights a tonne! I don’t think my tables are designed.. read more →


Our annual look at the art of the printmaker – PRINTWORKS IV – is now open until 9th June and features work by over 20 printmakers. The exhibition covers collagraphic prints, linocuts, wood engravings, etchings, dry points, lithographs – work by artists based in East Anglia and further afield. Date for the Diary

Printmaker Linda Farquharson will be in the gallery on Saturday 3rd May 2014 from 11-4pm to demonstrate linocut printmaking.
